It's a signature feature on Medium and Large sizes in the Cruise 3.0 collection. Check the product page to confirm whether a specific piece includes it, since it isn't standard across every collection.

It's designed to give a reliable read close to your airline's checked-bag scale, enough to flag if you're pushing past a typical 50 lb limit. For a borderline weight right at the cutoff, a standard luggage scale is still worth a double-check.

It's most useful on checked sizes, where overweight fees apply. Carry-ons are governed by size limits more than weight, so the indicator is built into our Medium and Large checked pieces rather than carry-on models.
