I got this size after realizing my carry-on wouldn't cut it for my trip (I mean, I was planning on shopping!). I used it for our Europe trip, flying from the States to Germany, then taking a bunch of trains through France and Switzerland. It handled everything, even rolling it over cobbled streets, up and down escalators, and across tram rails and curbs! I'm just bummed I got this color 'cause it really shows the scuffs from the airline baggage handlers.
It held perfectly my 4 pais of oants, 2 shorts, pj's, undergarments, 5 tops, cardigan, 2 long sleeve tops, 2 shoes, all my toiletries (I pack a lot).
