Expandable Luggage

An expandable gusset runs around the side of the case. Unzip it and the bag opens up to add extra packing capacity, ideal for souvenirs on the way home or a few extra days you didn't plan for.

It varies by model and size, typically adding a couple of inches of depth — check the product page for the exact expanded dimensions. On checked luggage, there's no size limit to worry about once expanded, just added weight.

You can, but be careful. Once expanded, a carry-on may exceed the size some airlines allow in the cabin, so an expanded bag might need to be checked instead. Check your airline's rules before relying on the extra room in flight.

No — the gusset is built into the case design and reinforced along the zip line. It's meant to be used regularly without compromising the bag's durability or security.

Yes. Depending on the model, a TSA-accepted lock and the SECURITECH® zip continue to secure the case whether it's expanded or not.
