Perfect Underseat Bag
After a recent trip on Breeze Airlines, where traveling with only a personal item is the cheapest ticket, I decided to buy an underseat bag.
Prior to the trip, a friend loaned me a bag to use. Rather than a "topload" style, it was zippered "side-by-side" version. With no purse - remember this was a personal item only flight - I had no way to quickly reach into the bag for a hairbrush, wallet, mobile phone, book, etc., without taking the bag from under the seat and putting it into my lap to retrieve anything I might need. It was a good trial run. (Especially for the investment, which I decided not to make.)
About 25 years ago we bought a small Delsey carry on bag at an airport. Recommended by a flight attendant. We're still using it today and can easily - not kidding - pack for 4 or 5 days in this bag, store it under the seat, and there's still room under the seat for something else.
So, off to the Delsey website to take a look. While I couldn't find the style we'd originally purchased all those years ago, I did find the Sky Max 2.0 Weekender. On sale! I haven't used it yet, but after the trip, I packed the same items I'd packed in the bag my friend loaned me. With room left over. For a four day trip.
You simply can't beat Delsey's quality. I have no doubt it'll serve me well for decades. And, if not, there's a manufacturer's warranty. Plenty of pockets and an easy-to-reach/use "topload" zipper.

The carry on duffel is pretty awesome, I really appreciate delsey paris for the design on his products, quality, durability and luxury.
